February 1, 2019: Kassie and Anna were scheduled to meet at 6:00 PM in Harvard Square at Alden & Harlow. In retrospect it seems like quite a chance meeting because at the last minute, Anna almost bailed on the date and if it hadn't been for some encouragement from Anna's friend Ryan, she would have. Happily, the first hours flew by and we agreed to meet again in a week's time in Providence. Within those first weeks, we met at a gig for Kassie’s band, a play at Trinity Rep, a dinner at East End, our first Valentine’s Day at The Avery… and in a moment of stars aligning, we learned that we were both scheduled to be in New Orleans at the same time in late February. No doubt, this is why we have such an affinity for NOLA, its music, and its magic: It was the backdrop for our falling in love. And so our story began….
