FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

I mean… we are tying the knot at a baseball park, but we’re keeping it timeless—so cocktail attire, if possible! We’d appreciate no t-shirts or jeans. And kindly, no white or any shade of it. We can’t wait to see you looking your best!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests unless a plus one is specifically indicated on your invitation and RSVP card. If you’re unsure or have any questions, please feel free to reach out before including someone not listed on your original invite.

Question

When Should I RSVP by?

Answer

Due to requirements from our venue and vendors, we need to provide a final guest count by a specific date. Please RSVP by August 13th. If we haven’t received your response by then, we’ll unfortunately have to mark your RSVP as “declined” in order to finalize our plans. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We absolutely adore all the little ones in our lives (and yours!), but due to limited space at our venue, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration—with the exception of children in the bridal party. We truly hope you’ll take this as a chance to relax and enjoy a fun evening with us!

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there’s plenty of parking! You’ll find a lot off Broad Street, right across from the Beloit Postal Office. We’ll have signs to guide you where to park. While there’s additional parking off Shirland, we’re hoping everyone enters through the entrance behind the outfield for easy access to the celebration.. We will have a beverage waiting for you all there!

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on the baseball field—yes, right on the field! Please do not wear heels on the field. If you are wearing heels, opt for a block heel or take them off before stepping onto the grass. Attendants will be there to guide you on how to get down to the diamond. Afterward, cocktail hour will be held outdoors, at the large outdoor bar and passed appetizers to keep you mingling and munching. The reception moves indoors, but the entire venue (including the outdoor spaces) will be open for you to explore and enjoy all night long!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

You all know we love a good insta moment as much as anyone, but during the ceremony, we’re going unplugged! That means no phones, cameras, or sneaky selfies—we want your faces, not your screens. Our amazing photographer will capture all the magic, so you can sit back, soak it in, and ugly-cry freely without worrying about filters. Don’t worry—you’ll have plenty of chances to snap and share later!
