Two Hearts, One Team! RSVP by August 10th — it’s going to be a major league celebration!

Every great love story has a memorable beginning—ours just happened to start at Onyx. If you know, you know… The very first Facebook message popped up way back in 2011, but like any good slow burn, it took a few years (and a little bit of fate) for things to fall into place. Fast forward to 2017: I was home from college for the weekend, working a shift at the big "O." Cory, fresh off an exhausting day of guttering, just happened to drive into town—after asking my friend if I’d be working that weekend. His whole crew rolled into the bar, hyped for a night out. But Cor? He came for one thing and one thing only. He walked in—rocking grey sweats like it was a red carpet look, headlining fashion week—gave a quick wave to his friends, made a beeline to the bar, ordered two shots of Jameson (my favorite, his absolute least favorite), asked for my number... and then left. That’s it. No small talk. No flirting. No dramatic pause. Just a bold Irish goodbye and a mic drop... in sweatpants. I stood there watching him leave, thinking: “Wait… how did he know to order Jameson? Did he seriously show up in sweats on a Saturday night just to Irish exit his entire friend group in under 60 seconds? Is this guy… husband material?” Spoiler alert: He 100% was. Our story has been far from traditional—but it’s been uniquely and completely ours every step of the way. From those two shots of Jameson to this beautiful life we’ve built, it’s been full of a whole lot of laughter, chaos, and love. Add in our firecracker of a daughter and our two handsome boys, and suddenly everything got even better (and a lot louder). We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you!
