Is a mask obligatory?

Answer

Yes, you are legally required to wear a mask when you are in the public spaces of the plaza (ex: bathrooms, lobby, etc.). However, once inside the hall, wearing a mask is completely at your discretion.

Where will the wedding take place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail, and reception will all take place at the same location. The location is at the Plaza Rive Sud. Here is the address: 500 Ave du Golf, La Prairie, Quebec J5R 0A5

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes. The dress code for the wedding is formal attire.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

If the weather permits, the ceremony is planned to take place outdoors.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Early July weather in Montreal can vary between 16 and 25 degrees Celsius on average. July is usually the warmest month. Seeing as the ceremony will take place outdoors, please ensure that you have applied sunscreen to protect your gorgeous skin! A pair of sunglasses and a hat would also be helpful. *Please let the bride and groom know if you have any concerns about staying outdoors in the sun for 30-45 minutes and they will make arrangements to keep you safe and comfortable throughout the ceremony.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony to allow the photographers to get good shots of the future married couple, as well as yourselves!

Can I take pictures during the rest of the wedding apart from the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony is over, please take as many pictures as you like! However, if possible, use the hashtag #KBWorthTheWait so that the bride and groom can find the photos easily and enjoy them as well!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

The bridal party will be getting their pictures taken for about an hour after the ceremony. In the meantime, the wedding coordinator will direct all guests towards the location of the cocktail, where beverages and canapes will be served.

What to do if you can no longer make it to the wedding?

Answer

You will be greatly missed! Please be sure to let the bride and groom know as soon as possible. You should also RSVP "not attending" using the tab on the upper right corner labeled "RSVP".

Where do we park? Is the parking free?

Answer

Yes, the parking is free! There is a large parking lot right in front of the plaza.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are certainly welcome! Please make sure to let the couple know on the RSVP if you will be bringing your children as there will be a special kid's menu prepared for the little ones.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You can bring a date if it is indicated on your invitation. The wedding is RSVP only.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is on Sunday, June 12th, 2021. To let the bride and groom know that you will be part of the special day, please RSVP through this very website, by clicking on the tab on the top right corner that says "RSVP".

Are the ceremony and reception locations accessible for those with decreased mobility?

Answer

Yes, they are! There aren't any stairs leading to the ceremony location, reception hall, nor bathrooms.

Will food and drinks be served at the wedding?

Answer

Finger foods and drinks will be served during the cocktail period. At the reception, a 5-course meal will be served to guests. A special kid's menu will be served to children under 12 years of age.

What if I have dietary restrictions? Vegan/gluten intolerant/allergies, etc.

Please try to arrive no later than 2:45 pm so that the ceremony can start at 3:00 pm sharp!

Yes, hotel room blocks have been reserved at the Alt hotel in Brossard. Please click on the tab at the top that says "accomodations" for more information.

The reception is scheduled to end at 2:00 am.

What can I expect from the ceremony?

Answer

The officiant will be conducting an English ceremony to ensure that nobody is left out. The ceremony will last between 30-45 minutes and will take place outdoors.
