Andrew and Olivia met on January 23rd, 2025, when they sat next to each other on United Airlines flight 752. Headed to D.C. with Wheaton College for the National March for Life, Andrew and Olivia bonded over philosophy, chess, and goats. Their conversations continued over the weekend as they laughed and got to know each other better. When they returned to campus, Andrew won Olivia over and asked her out on their first date—seven wonderful hours of dinner, dessert, strolling in the winter snow, and conversation in the dorm lobby. It did not take long for them to make the relationship official, enjoying three more months of time together before the the school year came to an end. While the first half of the summer was spent apart, Olivia traveling in Europe and Andrew interning in Dallas, 5000 miles between them only made their love grow. It was after this time apart, sitting by a small creek in Dallas, where they made the realization that their future together included a lifelong commitment in marriage. Once school began again, they continued growing closer and closer. In December, Andrew snuck off to Kansas City to ask for Olivia's parents' blessing by the same airport terminal and gate that they flew to D.C. from. Soon after, Olivia and Andrew flew across the world to Malaysia, spending Christmas and the New Year together with Andrew’s family. Andrew purchased an engagement ring on New Year's Day, and after returning to the States, Andrew proposed exactly one year after he and Olivia had met. The day of the 2026 March for Life, Olivia Grace Kaspar said “Yes!” at the Lincoln Memorial, where their decision to point one another to Christ in a lifelong commitment of love and sacrifice began.
