Canmore Rocky Mountain Half Marathon

Moraine Lake

We regrettably did not make it to Moraine Lake on our last trip, so we are planning to visit this time. In order to beat the crowds, we'll be heading out early in the morning and will probably spend the day hiking around the area. It's beyond Banff, and a little over an hour from Canmore. Anyone that wants to join us is more than welcome!

Our Ceremony

The ceremony will be outdoors, just outside of downtown Canmore, overlooking a pond with a view of the Three Sisters (where the pic above was taken). It's slightly off the beaten path and will require a short (+/- 5 min) hike over a dry, rocky river bed and through some woods. Appropriate footwear is recommended (i.e. no heels). Immediately after the ceremony, we'll pop champagne and take some photos before the two of us head off with our photographer for some hiking and photo ops around Banff. Later in the evening, we'll be hosting a private dinner in Banff. Feel free to use the time between the ceremony and dinner as you wish - we suggest getting out and exploring some sites!

Post-'I Do's, we will be reconvening and continuing the celebrations in the evening with some tasty Canada-local food and drinks, definitely with maple syrup incorporated. We've secured a private room at the Maple Leaf. Bring your appetites, food + drinks are on us!
