Dahlonega is a super cute mountain town! It's at least worth driving through the square to bask in the cuteness. (But also stop at the Gateway Antique Mall and say hey to Charles for us) Out of towners- stop and take a look around! Buy some stuff you don't need in the General Store and get ice cream at Connie's because it's the weekend and you deserve it. If you enjoy some nerdiness, check out the Gold Museum smack dab in the middle of the square. Georgians- If you live in this state and haven't seen Dahlonega yet, it's too late for you. Just bring it on to the venue ahead of time so we can make fun of you for never having been. We'll get a good laugh and you can drink our booze- it's a win win.
Super easy hike up to an awesome waterfall. This one is a no-brainer, you don't need special hiking shoes or a camelbak- just the ability to climb some stairs. Plus you get to say the word "Amicalola" later to your friends and act like a cool crunchy & hip outdoorsy person.
If you are looking for a longer hike in the area and need some guidance, don't hesitate to call or text! Jake Mountain and Bull Mountain are close-by, and Panther Creek is great but a little further out. And that's just the beginning- seriously hit us up.
