FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kasey Mills and Troy Stetson
If you have any other questions other than what we've listed here, please feel free to reach out to the bride and groom!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP no later than February 10th! You will need to RSVP for each person separately to see and select all of the event selections. If you cannot make it, you will be missed! Please indicate your regrets on the RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending", but find that you can no longer make it, please notify us as soon as you are aware.

Question

What if I didn't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided (February 10th), it will automatically be marked as "Not Attending". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors and venue with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to have our loved ones get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length or midi-length formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear a suit & tie with buttoned undershirts. No jeans please! Depending on the weather, please dress accordingly, including dress shoes and heels, since the ceremony and reception location at the venue may change.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night, including our families!

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to the limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited via wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Any exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis by the bride and groom. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are you having a welcome party?

Answer

While we would love to host a welcome party for our guests, we will be having an intimate Rehearsal Dinner for immediate family and wedding party only. Afterward, we will be hosting drinks with the bride and groom. You will see the option to accept or decline when you RSVP for the rehearsal dinner or the drinks afterward.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Onsite parking is available. Overnight parking is also an option, but vehicles must be picked up no later than 10 a.m. Please plan a way of getting here accordingly and map it beforehand to ensure on time arrival.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue NO later than 15 minutes before the ceremony; you can arrive as early as is 1:30 p.m. This will allow for you to park (unless you are taxing or have other transportation), sign the guestbook, and find your seat. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony at 2:00 p.m., you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until the start of cocktail hour to enter.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like! A photo booth will also be present for capturing your favorite memories.

Question

I need alternate food accommodations, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, if you have a food allergy or require a vegan/vegetarian option. Please let us know when you RSVP so we can coordinate with our caterer to best accommodate your special request.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, two specialty cocktails, and non alcoholic beverages are on us! Tips are appreciated.

Question

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages onto the premises.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

After the reception and dancing concludes at 9:00 p.m. guests can keep the party going at The Block in Petaluma! There will be more bites and a full bar available, so please make sure you have transportation to and from that location.
