The story of how Kasey & Joe met is quite different than your classic "fall in love at first sight" story. Kasey & Joe met at State Farm as competitors, both trying to be the top insurance sales people. Of course they became good friends as they worked closely with each other. In December of 2018, after 6 months of friendship, things started to change. God had different plans for the two of them. They both desired a faith-centered marriage and God knew that the two of them together would bring them both closer to the Lord. With the help of the Lord's workings Kasey & Joe started to date at the end of 2018 and since that time they have been inseparable. Kasey & Joe have both left State Farm and pursued a life long dream- they opened their own insurance agency, Insurance Resource Group. Getting to run a new business together while growing in their relationship has been a dream come true. All thanks to the Lord who has blessed them immensely.

Kasey & Joe decided to take a long weekend and go to Chicago, they both love the atmosphere and uniqueness of the big city. The first day that they were there they decided to walk to the Navy Pier. On the way there they stopped on the Dearborn Street bridge over the river to take some pictures. When Kasey turned around Joe was on one knee and asked the big question. They decided to go down to the outdoor patio below the bridge by the river. When they got down there, many people had witnessed the engagement and bought them a bottle of Champagne to celebrate. It was a beautiful day outside & they got to sit by the river while they called their family/friends to tell them the big news.
