Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible. We have an electronic RSVP process, and you can update it at any time, but the couple asks that you finalize your response by September 30th to ensure the venue seating and catering arrangements.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Semi-formal garden attire: Ladies should wear tea-length dresses, elegant sundresses, floral prints, pastel colors, fun hats, and fascinators. Don't forget outdoor-friendly shoes. Men should wear suits in lighter hues of grey, blue, navy, with a fun tie or bowtie. Take inspiration from English garden party attire. Suspenders and cowboy boots are always welcome! Please, no jeans or sneakers. Come picture ready; the couple is excited to have you in their photos!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The bride will walk down the aisle at 4PM. We ask that guests arrive 30 minutes early to ensure they have a seat.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Please reference your invitation to see how many seats have been allocated for you. Kasey and Christie are having an intimate service and have limited capacity at their venue. If you were not allocated an additional seat but would like one, please check with the bride, and if a seat becomes available, we will do our best to accommodate.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Kasey and Christie ask that you make arrangements for your children. They are having an adult-only wedding ceremony.

Question

Can I bring my cellphone for pictures?

Answer

Christie and Kasey's wedding is an "unplugged" service. Please be respectful and turn off your phones and keep them put away during the service. Additionally, the bride and groom ask that you refrain from photographing them during their special day without their consent. They have invested in an excellent professional photographer and would love to have professional memories of their day with you. Your phone is welcome at cocktail hour and during dinner for selfies with friends and family. Check out the couple's custom Snapchat filters!

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely! Just be warned anything you do will be photographed! Make sure to bring cash to tip your bartender. Have a favorite drink? Let the bride and groom know we will be sure to stock it.

Question

What types of food will be served?

Answer

Come hungry! Station House BBQ will be serving smoked pork, chicken, and their famous meatloaf. (There will be plenty for everyone to have all three.) Sides include coleslaw, collard greens, and cornbread pudding. Dinner will be served with dinner rolls and salad. Non-alcoholic beverages include sweet tea, lemonade, and water.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please alert Christie immediately if you have any food allergies she should be aware of. Contact via cell phone or email ChristieLynne@icloud.com

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Check out the travel tab on the website to see the hotel the Bride and groom will stay at. There are also a few Bed and Breakfasts in the surrounding area and some Air BnB options.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Currently, no. However, the Bride and Groom are inquiring about options to ensure everyone gets home safely. If this is something you would like, please let Christie know.
