Teagan is one of KaSandra’s longest and dearest friends, and truly feels more like a sister than a friend. The two met while working together at Nazarene Wee Care Daycare, where they quickly became inseparable. From the very beginning, Teagan became someone KaSandra could always count on — whether it was for laughter, advice, late-night conversations, or the endless exchange of funny videos. Over the years, they have shared countless memories together, from midnight baked bean snacks and late-night bonfires to starting scary movies that KaSandra inevitably falls asleep during five minutes in. No matter how busy life gets, they always know they can pick up right where they left off. Their friendship has been filled with laughter, support, and unforgettable memories, and no matter where life takes them, they are always ready for the next adventure together. Teagan has always had a way of making even the hardest days feel lighter. Whether it’s offering advice, being a listening ear, or simply making everyday moments more special, she has always been someone KaSandra can lean on. KaSandra is endlessly grateful for the friendship they have built over the years and could not imagine her wedding day without Teagan standing beside her as Matron of Honor.

Logan is one of Shawn's best friends, and they've known each other since grade school. They first met when they had class together and quickly hit it off, spending countless afternoons after school fishing with a group of friends and creating memories that have lasted ever since. As they got older, they attended the tech center together in the welding program before continuing their education at KVCC to pursue careers in the trade. Although their career paths eventually took them in different directions within the construction industry, their friendship has remained as strong as ever. Logan is truly like a brother to Shawn, and no matter how busy life gets, they've always made time for one another. One of their favorite traditions is getting together every New Year's, something they've continued year after year. Logan is also Shawn's go-to friend for casino trips, mostly because he somehow always seems to be the one walking away a winner. Shawn is incredibly grateful for Logan's friendship and all of the memories they've shared, and he's thankful to have him standing by his side on such an important day.

Kaylee is one of KaSandra’s best friends, and the two met at a New Year’s party five (or more) years ago… but who’s counting? From the moment they started talking, they instantly clicked and quickly became inseparable. Since Kaylee is dating Shawn’s best friend, Logan, the four of them have shared countless memories, adventures, and traditions together over the years. From annual New Year’s celebrations filled with card games, drinks, and the infamous saran wrap ball game, to casino trips and sharing favorite books and music, Kaylee always knows how to make every moment more fun. Whether they are out making memories or simply laughing over something ridiculous, she has a way of turning ordinary moments into unforgettable ones. Kaylee’s kindness, sense of humor, and adventurous spirit make her such a special friend. KaSandra is incredibly grateful for their friendship and all the memories they have shared together. She could not imagine her wedding day without Kaylee standing beside her and cannot wait to celebrate Kaylee’s special day someday, too.

Brett is one of Shawn's best friends, and they've known each other since their school days. Over the years, he's always been someone Shawn could count on, a loyal friend and someone who's always great to be around. Together, they've made so many unforgettable memories, whether sitting around a campfire, hanging out in a cornfield, spending time at the lake, or riding the dunes at Silver Lake. No matter what they're doing, it's always a good time when Brett is around. He has a great sense of humor and a way of making everyone laugh, bringing fun and positive energy wherever he goes. Shawn is grateful for Brett's friendship and all the memories they've shared.

Maddie Pursley

Maddie is one of KaSandra’s best friends and someone who shares her love for horses, country music, and western style. The two met when a group of friends rented an Airbnb in Indiana for a Luke Combs concert, and from that trip on, KaSandra realized Maddie was a friend she never knew she needed in her life. From bonfires with drinks and late-night conversations to pool games, girls’ craft nights, and countless talks about life, Maddie is the kind of friend KaSandra can spend hours with and still never run out of things to say. No matter what they are doing, she always knows how to make every moment memorable. Maddie has a beautiful soul, a kind heart, and is always there to listen, offer advice, or simply be someone KaSandra can lean on. Her friendship means so much, and KaSandra is incredibly grateful for all the memories they have shared together over the years. KaSandra was lucky enough to stand beside Maddie on her wedding day, and she could not imagine her own wedding day without Maddie standing beside her on hers.

Nate Scharrer

Nate is one of Shawn's best friends, and they first met at KVCC in their welding class with Logan. From the moment they met, it was clear that neither one of them was short on words. What started as conversations in class quickly turned into hours of talking, and somehow they always find something new to talk about. Nate and Shawn started their pipe fitter apprenticeship together and finished it together after a long five years. Over that time, they made countless memories, from hunting stories and late nights by the fire with a glizzy, to helping each other out whenever needed. Whether they are talking about hunting, sharing stories, or just hanging out, there is never a quiet moment when Nate and Shawn are together. Even the day Shawn spilled rocks, Nate was there to make sure it became another story they would laugh about. Shawn is grateful for Nate's friendship and all the memories they have shared.

McKenna Bruin

McKenna is one of KaSandra’s best friends, and the two met while attending Western Michigan University in the special education program. Although they were both a little shy at first, it did not take long for them to become close friends. Over the five years they spent together in college, McKenna became KaSandra’s study buddy, support system, and one of the people she could always count on. From college classes and student teaching to surviving their first years in education together, McKenna has been one of the biggest reasons KaSandra made it through both college and her first year of teaching. The two are constantly talking about how their school days went, sharing advice, encouraging each other, and helping one another through all the ups and downs that come with teaching. Whether they are talking about their favorite country artists, sharing book recommendations, finding the cutest western and teaching outfits, or spending hours discussing life as teachers, McKenna is always someone KaSandra can turn to. No matter how busy life gets, she is always there to laugh with, listen, and offer support when it is needed most. McKenna has such a kind heart and brings so much joy to those around her. KaSandra is incredibly grateful for the friendship they have built over the years and all the memories they have shared together. She could not imagine her wedding day without McKenna standing beside her and cannot wait to celebrate McKenna’s special day someday, too.

Mitch is one of Shawn's best friends, and they met during their five-year apprenticeship with the union. Through long workdays and even longer class days, Mitch always had a way of making the time more enjoyable, and there was never a dull moment when he was around. Some of their favorite memories come from spending every Fourth of July at the lake, laughing and enjoying the day together. Mitch has a natural way of bringing energy and fun wherever he goes, and he truly brings the light to every gathering. Shawn is grateful for Mitch's friendship and all the memories they have shared over the years.

Chloe Ruppert

Chloe is Shawn’s stepsister, but she has always felt like the sister KaSandra wished she had growing up — and soon enough, she officially will be. Since Shawn and KaSandra have been together since she was 16 years old, Chloe has been part of her life for nearly 10 years. Over that time, she has become so much more than family — she has become one of KaSandra’s best friends and truly like a sister to her. Chloe is the kind of person who is always there to help with absolutely anything at any given moment. She would give the shirt off her back to someone she loves and is incredibly supportive, thoughtful, and caring. She also has such a great sense of humor, amazing style, and is always so much fun to be around. Chloe is the type of person anyone can count on to have a good time with, no matter where they are. From their trips to Tennessee, to blueberry festivals in South Haven, and weekends in Traverse City, they have shared so many unforgettable memories together over the years. Whether they are laughing until they cry, having long talks, or simply making the most out of every moment, Chloe always knows how to make life more fun and meaningful. KaSandra was honored to stand beside Chloe on her wedding day, and it means so much to now have Chloe standing beside her on hers. She truly could not imagine celebrating such a special day without her by her side.

Tyler is Shawn's one and only brother, and even with three years between them, they have always found ways to make great memories together. Growing up, they spent countless days working together at their dad's bait shop, enjoying summers at their grandparents' cabin, and fishing side by side on the big lake. Of course, with all the time they spent together, it is safe to say a good portion of it was spent trying to beat each other up. Through all the laughs, arguments, and adventures, Tyler has always been someone Shawn can count on, whether it is for a quick phone call, a helping hand, or just having someone there when he needs him. Shawn is thankful to have Tyler as his brother and for all the memories they have shared over the years.
