Transportation

For those flying, the best option is to fly into Norfolk International Airport in Virginia. This airport is about an hour and a half from the Outer Banks but is the closest option. Due to that distance, some transportation will most likely be needed. Coastal Cab is a shuttle service that will provide transportation from the airport to the Outer Banks and your vacation destination. It will then pick you up from your stay and take you to the airport when it is time to depart. You will need to call and schedule a pick-up with the company. The phone number is (252) 449- 8686. There is also always the option to rent a car from the airport for your stay or get an Uber or Lyft.
