Are there requirements needed from guests in regards to COVID-19?

Answer

The New York State Department of Health strongly recommends that masks be worn in indoor settings where vaccination status of individuals is unknown to you. For the comfort and safety of guests, Glenora employees will be required to wear a mask. Vaccinated individuals are welcome to enter the winery, inn, and restaurant without a mask, per state and federal recommendation. Glenora asks that unvaccinated individuals continue to wear their masks while visiting, except when seated with their party. While Glenora will not require proof of vaccination, it is our hope that all visitors practice transparency in their visit. Guests will need to provide contact tracing information upon signing in: full name, date of birth, address, email, and phone number. Guests will be required to do a COVID-19 health screening which will be administered by the venue. This is a questionnaire about your recent health.

I’m concerned about COVID-19. Will I be able to socially distance if I attend the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outside on the lawn of Glenora Wine Cellars. There is a possibility to watch the ceremony from the back facing rooms of the Inn on site. We will have a speaker system set up for projection of sound during the ceremony. Our reception will be held at the Veraisons restaurant on site with open air from the terrace. Glenora will follow all recommendations posed by New York State.

Can I bring a date?

Due to COVID-19, we are limiting plus ones. We ask that our guests limit their party to the number of name lines provided with their online RSVP.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Children that are listed in your party's online RSVP are welcome! Please note, the mask requirement applies to any guest over the age of 2.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that our guests ideally arrive by 4pm for our 4:30pm ceremony. Come earlier if you want to enjoy a wine tasting or explore the grounds at Glenora!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have wedding blocks at the Inn at Glenora and at the Best Western Plus Hammondsport. There are also many options in the Finger Lakes area for Airbnb and Vrbo.
