Our story
How we meet
We met on Hinge—one of the many dating apps out there— We became penpals for almost two months (modern love, right?) before finally having our first date at Lumi on August 24, 2023 and the rest, as they say, is history… or at least the beginning of a really good story still being written...
The proposal
We were in London because Karol was there for work, and Greg had decided to fly over to visit. That day was perfectly imperfect. It was raining, we were running late for the Churchill War Rooms, and we ended up completely soaked. Karol was unaware of what was about to happen just a few hours later. By early evening, in the gardens of Kensington Palace, the big moment finally came—the question was popped, and just like that, we were engaged! That night, we walked the London streets hand in hand, enjoying our first night as fiancés under the city lights. We wrapped up the day listening to live jazz, sipping champagne, and toasting to forever.
