Matron of Honor
Jordan and Emily met during orientation at Texas State University and have been inseparable ever since. They were roommates for three years throughout college, but became best friends from the very beginning. Over the past seven years, memories were made thrift shopping, travelling, line-dancing, having bachelor watch parties, floating the river, and visiting each other between Texas and Missouri. Jordan has been such an important part of both of our lives, and she’s also the reason our story began as she introduced Emily to Luke, who is Robby’s best friend and now best man. She is Emily's "twin flame" and best friend for life.
Maid of Honor
Sarah has been such an important part of our lives, but especially Emily’s. As her big sister, she’s been a built-in best friend, role model, and constant source of love and support through every stage of life. From childhood memories playing soccer, playing with Barbies, and watching Mamma Mia! on repeat, to taking vacations together, brunches, and Stockyards outings in Fort Worth, their bond is something truly special. With Sarah, Emily feels their bond feels like something chosen just as much as it was given. She’s equal parts protector, bestie, and lifelong keeper of all Emily’s embarrassing stories. We couldn’t imagine this day without her standing by our side.
Bridesmaid
Jaida and Emily met while in the master’s program at The University of Texas at Austin, quickly bonding over their shared love of sports and Mexican food. Over the past three years, Jaida has become the go-to for the best nights out, endless laughs, and making every event more fun. Whether it’s riding mechanical bulls, going to concerts, or tagging along on vet visits for Emily’s cat, Jaida makes every side quest better. From cheering at Texas games to visiting Emily’s hometown, she has remained an important part of Emily’s life even after moving to Georgia. She has truly become “framily.”
Bridesmaid
Avary and Emily met at Texas State University, and Avary later joined Jordan and Emily as a roommate for their final year of college. As roommates, they shared everyday moments that became some of their best memories, from “roomie dinners” in their apartment to late-night laughs, spontaneous Insomnia Cookie runs, many weekends spent at football games, and floating the river at TXST. After graduation, Emily and Avary continued making memories together while both living in Austin, exploring new spots around the city and finding every excuse to get together. Her friendship continues to be one of the most special parts of Emily’s life.
Best Man
Luke and Robby have been close friends since the summer before their freshman year at Midwestern State University, where they met as rookies on the MSU cheer team. They quickly bonded over shared experiences, and a mutual love of food. Throughout college, they spent just about every day together, living only a couple doors apart and constantly stopping by each other’s rooms. Luke also played a huge role in our story by introducing Robby to Emily through Jordan, his now wife and Emily’s matron of honor. Although Luke now lives states away while serving in the U.S. Air Force as an airplane technician, their friendship has remained just as strong over the years. We’re so thankful to have him standing by our side on this special day.
Groomsman
Caleb met Robby through Midwestern State University Cheer after Robby encouraged him to come try out at a practice. What began through cheer quickly grew into a lifelong friendship. Although Caleb was a few years ahead of Robby in school, the two became roommates, creating countless memories together including surviving a Texas freeze in their off-campus apartment, nights grilling, practices and tailgates. Through the years, Caleb has remained a major inspiration in Robby’s life through his strong faith, mentorship, and unwavering support. We are so grateful to have Caleb standing by our side.
Groomsman
Josh and Robby met during orientation before starting an early college high school program in a brand-new school district. Not knowing many people, the two quickly became close friends. Anyone who meets Josh immediately notices his contagious personality and positive energy. Through some of Robby’s toughest moments in high school, Josh was always there with encouragement, support, and the ability to make any situation brighter. Today, he continues to inspire those around him while serving in the United States Air Force as a Military Police Officer, and he’s promised the other groomsmen they have absolutely nothing to worry about as long as everyone behaves and no one gives him a reason to “do his job” on the wedding day.
Groomsman
Huram-Abi has been part of Robby’s life for as long as he can remember. From their days together in Cub Scouts (Pack 769) and Boy Scouts (Troop 769), the two grew up side by side. From first knots, to first cars, and sharing countless milestones and memories along the way. More than just a lifelong friend, Huram-Abi has been like a brother, mentor, and role model to Robby throughout every stage of life. Today, he serves in Cyber Command for the U.S. Army, continuing to inspire those around him through his leadership and dedication.
