We met in 2019 at 18 years old thanks to a little matchmaking from our best friends, and everything clicked pretty quickly from there. At the time, Emily was attending Texas State University, while Robby was at Midwestern State University. What started as a simple introduction quickly turned into a strong friendship. We spent our days talking on FaceTime and going on virtual “dates,” making even the distance feel small. After a Texas State football game, Robby asked Emily to be his girlfriend, turning a growing connection into a love story that’s lasted ever since. From life at home with our two cats, Poppy and Hope, to traveling and discovering new places together, we’ve built a life we truly love. Filled with travel, laughter, and making the most of every moment, it’s a life that naturally led us to a destination wedding. After six years together, Robby proposed during a trip to Big Bend (one of our favorite adventures). He led Emily up a mountain overlooking our campsite, where, surrounded by the most breathtaking views, he asked her to spend forever with him.
