Things To Do

We understand and appreciate that 75% of you (we did the math) will be traveling across country to celebrate our special day and wanted to provide a thorough and very biased rundown rundown of the bars, diners, restaurants, and outdoor activities that make this place so special to us

Russian Hill / Nob Hill

San Francisco, CA

Breakfast: Toast Eatery has the best eggs + hash brown combo in SF (again - very biased) Bob's Donuts: This is an every-other-Friday tradition we instituted back in 2020 - highly recommend Sandwiches: The Boys Deli @ Polk Street Market - enough said Bars: Greens Sports Bar is where you can catch fellow wedding guest Channing Mitzell watching "the game" Shanghai Kelly's: There's a 96% chance of seeing fellow wedding guest Dan Casey here Blackhorse Deli: This place is not a deli. It's actually the smallest bar in SF. Great times! Pizza, Great Wine and Elevated Apps: Go to Back to Back. It’s a casual wine + food bar nestled in the neighboring Nob Hill, and the pizza is wood fired but fluffy and soft! Unique flavors too. Martinis: 2211 Club (or Crestas) and Hi-Lo Club. Both are on Polk Street!

Cow Hollow / Marina

San Francisco, CA 94123

Breakfast: Blue Fog Market is Karly's favorite (thanks to Bella Valentini) for the ham & cheese on a croissant with fluffy eggs and their vanilla oat milk lattes. Scott doesn't agree but he likes that they have every flavor of Liquid Death. Sandwiches: Green Street Market & Golden Gate Deli & Liquor (they are under the same ownership and quality as the aforementioned Boys Deli) Bars: Mauna Lou Club is not a club - but tell the bartender you know Grace Simpson Final Final and/or Horseshoe Tavern: You'll know why they're recommended the second you walk in Martinis: Brazen Head will make you a top notch martini and a surprisingly good steak until the wee hours of the night Balboas: Bloody's, martinis, espresso martinis - they got it all Dinner: Wildseed is actually really damn good if you're into healthy alternatives to healthy alternatives Perry's: If you're NOT into healthy alternatives to healthy alternatives

Fisherman's Wharf

San Francisco, CA

Breakfast: Buena Vista Cafe has breakfast food is in the C+/B- range but I HIGHLY recommend getting your Saturday started with one their famous Irish Coffees. You may just see Scott there. Bar: Red Jack Saloon is a rare Amherst, MA themed bar that Scott drags Karly to and tries to make her feel nostalgic while he enjoys one of the best Guinness pours in the city Cocktails + Pot Pie: Sweetie's Art Bar - truly one of a kind

North Beach

San Francisco, CA

Bars: Vesuvio is a true San Francisco staple where Jack Kerouac and Neil Cassidy use to mix it up. North Star classic spot. Again - 96% chance you run into fellow wedding guest Dan Casey. Rumor has it he's cloned himself so he could be at North Star and Shanghai Kellys at the same time. Even if the rumors are true, he's still not getting a plus one. Breakfast: Mama's - you'll want to get there early. Always a big line for good reason Martinis: Bix is classy, jazz supper club! You can go for drinks and dinner too but you might need a reservation if dining. Pizza: For takeout style, go to Tony's or Golden Boy - still not as good as the Providence, New Haven, New York pizza scene.

Pacific Heights

San Francisco, CA

Beers - Harry's - where fellow wedding guests Jack Sheedy and Morgan Edwards wet their whistles after Thursday night kickball victories Dinner - Tailor's Son - Karly's favorite restaurant ever. It's "goals" Martinis - Florios -great people watching bar + cribbage arena Cocktails - The Snug - trendy vibe. Karly likes it more than Scott Ice Cream - Salt & Straw - the smell will drag you in

NoPa / Haight

San Francisco, CA

Breakfast: Eddie's Cafe built a great culture there and their food reflects such Bars: Danny Coyles without a shadow of a doubt. I can guarantee fellow wedding guest and SF ex-pat Boo Cahill will have a proper session here during wedding weekend. Great Guinness pour Wings: Kezar's Pub is the best in the city

Outdoor Activities

San Francisco, CA

Tennessee Valley Trail ~ 20 mins from the city across the Golden Gate in the Marin Headlands. Legendary reveals of the Pacific Ocean and the SF city scape. A place that truly puts the mind at ease. Parking can fill up so would recommend getting there before 11am on the weekend (Friday will probably be ok though!) DEFINITELY grab a Rockfish Burrito at Marin's Hook Fish Co location on your way out. Lands End --> Presidio Hike - Walk the cliffs on the coast of the city from the Ocean to the Golden Gate Bridge Presidio Loop Trail - or any trail in the Presidio really. Breathe in scents of Karly's favorite eucalyptus trees and enjoy a true urban treasure Parks - Alamo Square (for all you Full House buffs), Fort Mason, Mission-Delores, Lafayette, Alta Plaza, Golden Gate Park/Ocean beach
