Engagement Story
K & J both love Christmas! So J easily convinced K to do a date night in search of Christmas lights.
Started the day strongly with a surprise gift from her hotel & a late lunch at Butcher's Union, K & J made a stop at Broadway Bar for the holiday decor. Their adventures that day took them to the GR Public Museum, Right Bank Wine Shop & IDC for warm winter cocktails. Dinner was complete with buffalo chicken rolls at Z's - IYKYK.
The only thing that was "planned" for the night was a reservation at K & J's first date spot, House of Wine. House of Wine is special to K & J because after talking on Hinge, J made a couple reservations here for a first date & K kept bailing due to unforeseen circumstances (nerves)! After a 3rd try, K showed up & the rest is history.
Making a reservation here was a no-brainer for John when he was planning the proposal. To this day, neither of them can remember fully what words were said.
