Where should I stay?

Answer

There are lots of Airbnb/Vrbo rentals in the area. The closest neighborhoods to the venue are: Donner Lake, Armstrong Tract, Tahoe Donner, Sierra Meadows, but Truckee isn't that big so it's easy to get across town. Lake Tahoe is about a 20-30min drive from Truckee, and has lots of rentals around the big lake. (Ask us if you have questions!) There are a handful of hotels in Truckee. Can my kids come?

No. We love your kids, but this is a no kids event.

How do I get to the venue and where do I park?

Answer

West End Beach - 15888 S Shore Dr, Truckee, CA 96161. Look for the pavilion on the far side and you'll see pavilion gate access. There are reserved parking spots for 55 cars. Please carpool if you can. If parking fills up, there is street parking along S Shore Dr and the surrounding neighborhood.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive no later than 2:45pm, ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm.

What is the attire?

Dressy Casual - No jeans, shorts, tank tops, T-shirts, swimsuits, etc.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Yes, we recommend renting a car. Pair up with friends or family who are also attending! Lyft and Uber are very limited here, and a trip to or from Reno is quite expensive. Public transit is possible but not super reliable. Amtrak runs once daily from Reno to Truckee, but can be delayed.
