FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kara Powell and Karl Eichenmiller
If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to Karl (karl.eichenmiller@gmail.com) or Kara (karaspowell@gmail.com).
Question

What about the registry?

Answer

Our wedding would not be the same without your presence! However, when it comes to presents, we would appreciate a contribution towards our honeymoon fund in place of wedding gifts. To make a contribution: (1) we will have a table for contributions at the wedding; (2) you can Venmo Karl @Karl-Eichenmiller; or (3) you can go to the “Registry” tab above and make a credit card payment to the honeymoon fund.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is parking for 75 cars at the venue. Due to possible limited space (and hopefully being a bit intoxicated when leaving) we recommend carpooling or getting an Uber or Lyft.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We ask that you adhere to the RSVP and only bring a date if you are prompted for a plus one on the website.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that everyone RSVP by July 28, 2022.

Question

What is the food going to be?

Answer

We will have some starters during cocktail hour and a BBQ buffet during the reception.

Question

What kind of drinks will be provided?

Answer

We will have beer and wine provided, plus non-alcoholic drinks.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather accommodating, the ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside the climate-controlled reception area. If rain occurs or we decide it is too hot, the ceremony will be under a large tent outside or inside the reception area.

Question

Is there a wedding #hashtag?

Answer

#KarlGotKaraedAway Despite our fun wedding hashtag, we ask that the ceremony be “unplugged” to let the photographers do their jobs. Please turn off all cell phones and cameras during the ceremony.
