Will there be COVID testing requirements to attend? What other safety measures are in place?

Answer

Your safety is important to us. We are adhering to CDC and local government guidelines. Various measures will be implemented so that our time together will be both safe and enjoyable. Here’s where we will need your help: We are requesting that you be prepared to show proof of either a vaccine or a negative COVID test, taken within 48 hours of the wedding; a Rapid Test will likely be required to get the test results in time. Results can be sent to us in advance via email: paulandkarlenemc@gmail.com or shown on the day of. Will I have to quarantine if I fly in to Connecticut from out of state?

Answer

For guests coming in to CT from outside of the NY, NJ area, a completed travel form is required by the state. While there is a mandatory quarantine for many out of state travelers, you can test out of the quarantine requirement prior to your arrival into Connecticut. You must submit (via email/fax) proof of a negative COVID test taken within a specified number of days as well as complete the brief electronic questionnaire. Where can we stay? Do you have hotel recommendations?

Answer

Rooms are blocked at two hotels just minutes from the wedding venue. Mention McLarty-McGibbon wedding and book by February 11. Do you have a gift registry?

No, we do not have a registry. If you would like to give a gift, thank you. We would appreciate monetary contributions as we start our lives together as one.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We are requesting that you wear formal attire (Black Tie, optional) on our wedding day.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless your invitation specifies, we are sorry we are unable to accommodate additional guests.

Can I substitute one of the member in my party?

Answer

We kindly ask that there be no substitution made to the guest name on the invitation.
