FAQs

Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. We kindly recommend arriving by 3:30 PM to park, find your seat, and settle in before we say "I do."

Question

WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?

Answer

For our formal garden-themed wedding, we request elegant attire that fits the outdoor charm of the occasion. As a token of respect to the bride and Peruvian wedding traditions, we kindly but firmly ask that guests do not wear red or white to honor this cultural custom.

Question

CAN I BRING A GUEST?

Answer

We can only accommodate guests specifically named on the invitation. If a plus-one is included, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Question

ARE MY CHILDREN ALLOWED TO ATTEND?

Answer

We’ve chosen to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our flower girl and ring bearer. Thank you for joining us to create a memorable evening together!

Question

WHERE CAN I RESERVE A HOTEL ROOM OR AIRBNB?

Answer

Accommodations are available in nearby St Clair and Marysville- both 15 min away and on/near St Clair River. There are also accommodations in Port Huron (25 min away) near Blue Water Bridge/US/Canada border on/near the St. Clair River and at the start of one of Michigan’s Great Lakes - Lake Huron. For more choices, check out plenty of Airbnbs in Columbus, Michigan and those surrounding areas.

Question

CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" wedding. We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present as we say "I do."
