Next question.
We're getting married at City Hall because neither of us like having a lot of attention on us. Also, Monica will freely admit she always pictured herself getting married in front of a magistrate at City Hall. We wanted to make sure our guests had plenty of information for our wedding. A wedding website allows us to have all of the information in one place, especially since some guests are coming from out of town.
As this is happening at City Hall, the dress code is business casual. The bride will be wearing a burgundy suit, and the groom will be wearing a charcoal suit. They both want you to feel fabulous.
The Garfield Park Conservatory is one of the largest botanical conservatories in the world, and is a gem of Chicago's West Side, where Karl and Monica live. While Monica was a student at University of Illinois at Chicago, the Garfield Park Conservatory was her "happy place," with the Fern Room often help cheering her up on Chicago's gray winter days. Nothing seemed better to them than to spend the day walking around the Conservatory with their close family members and friends after getting married. It's also an easy stop off the Green Line (Conservatory - Central Park Drive) on the way to Karl and Monica's House from Beatrix.
Please RSVP by March 21. That way we know how many people to expect and can give a final count to Beatrix, as well as make reservations at the Conservatory.
