Maybe in distance, but never at heart. They both realized that they both needed each other and now are inseparable.

Nik is Jason's longest friend of almost 12 years. From the moment they become friends, they began doing everything together, from camping, fishing, road trips, and now a wedding. Nik and Jason can now add this to their list of things they have done together throughout their friendship.

Alex is Jason's cousin who is also married to Macy. Jason and Alex have shared many memories as they have grown up together. In July of 2023, Jason stood with Alex as he said, "I do." to Macy. And now, Alex is returning the favor to Jason as he says, "I do." to Karissa.

Millio and Jason met in Ocean Side, California on Camp Pendleton before deploying together in 2019. While serving the country and traveling the world together they formed a life long bond. Millio will stand with Jason on his wedding day as he did over seas.

Keener met Jason in the dessert of 29 Palms. They then deployed together in 2019 throughout the Pacific and Middle East. Through deployment, Millio, Keener, and Jason became the three amigos making countless memories together. Having Kenner and Millio stand with Jason will be another core memory that they will share together.

Bryce is Karissa's uncle in her wild family tree. He has been there for Karissa through many milestones in her life with his wife, Sara. When thinking about a wedding officiant, Karissa knew one guy for the job. So now, Bryce will be there for Karissa for another milestone in her life to begin a new chapter as a Serrano.
