We request that all eligible attendees be fully vaccinated for the safety of all guests, and we may require proof of vaccination at both events. Currently, we ask that guests take a rapid or PCR test prior to arrival. We will be strictly following all CDC guidelines and local mandates as they evolve. We are optimistic that our entire guest list is able to gather together safely under our current plan, but will continue to update this section as needed as the date draws nearer. The Sangeet and reception venues are indoors, and the ceremony will be held outdoors. Both venues do not require masks indoors, but guests can feel free to choose to mask on an individual basis when inside the building.
Our dress code for both the Sangeet and wedding day is cocktail attire. As our wedding fuses elements from both Indian and Jewish cultures, we do not have a strict requirement to wear western clothing versus Indian clothes. We want to stress that anyone who would like to is welcome to wear Indian clothes for one or both days. The Sangeet is a primarily Indian event, so it is a great option for dressing up in Indian attire. For the wedding day, both western and Indian attire are entirely appropriate. For western attire, we've provided some examples for your inspiration: - A suit or a nice pair of slacks and a button-down shirt. Ties are not required. - A formal summer sundress, a nice jumpsuit, or a cocktail dress with dressy sandals, wedges, or heels. Ultimately, we recommend you choose to wear what you're most comfortable in. Note: The Sangeet event will take place indoors. The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, and the wedding reception will take place indoors, so you will want to dress accordingly.
