Tropics Alehouse - try the "wake & bacon" pizza, lots of beers on tap Super J's - super local, best for authentic Hawaiian lunch plate Big Island Brewhaus - best brews in Waimea Foster's - newer to Kona but we've heard great things!

Manta Ray night snorkel - many companies to book this with... we've gone with Sea Hawaii Rafting Whale Watching boat tour - same as above Volcano National Park - definitely worth a whole day's trip Puuhonua o Honaunau "Place of Refuge" - beyond the National Historical Park is a picnic area with tide pools and a trail. This is one of our favorite spots. Pololu Valley - epic... is all that needs to be said.
