Meet my Maid of Honor, Joselyn, lovingly referred to as Jaws or Sunshine(only if you're me). We met in 7th grade when Joselyn was trying to protect an ant from being squished by another classmate and have survived the awkwardness of middle school, the perils of high school and living across the country from each other when she earned her acceptance to the University of Pennsylvania. Joselyn is the closest person I have to a sister, she is the first person I think to call when I have good or bad news and she is the perfect choice for this role.

Ariel and Laura have given us the honor of accompanying us on one of the most important days of our lives. Being padrinos de misa means that they will stand by our side during our religious ceremony and they will offer their support during the years to come. Miguel and I chose them for this role because we feel that they have an exemplary marriage we look up to. We look forward to seeing them in their new roles as well as growing our relationship.

Meet Monique Cortes, my best woman. I have known Monique Cortes for her whole life. She has been the best roommate and the biggest pain in my butt. Monique is one of the strongest, smartest and most caring women I know. In my lifetime of 30 years I have never had very man best friends, let alone someone that will stand by my side for this journey to the most important day of my life. My wedding. To me.. a best friend is a role which suits Monique Cortes perfectly. Therefore my best friend and my partner in crime; Monique Cortes my beautiful sister is undoubtedly the most perfect candidate for this important role.
