Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and fedoras to t-shirts and sandals. Loud and soft outfits are equally welcome.
Please RSVP with number and age of any kids expected. Additional family members of guests are welcome to join. 4pm onwards we will be hanging out by the pool 5pm Special performance by University College Oxford Choir inside the villa chapel 6pm Tuscan Buffet Dinner starts accompanied by live music 8pm till late DJ for anyone still working through jetlag Kids Corner available for the little ones Parking is limited. Transportation to/from Villa Marta will be provided. You can join any time after 4pm onwards. This event is completely optional! Don't feel pressure to join.

Saturday activities to explore Lucca (see email for more details)

We are offering a selection of activities during the day in smaller groups for people to get to know one another and explore Lucca. We sent you an email so please express your preferences via the Google Form. Activity 1: Wine Tasting and Light Lunch at Vineyard (11am-3pm). Venue is Valle De Sole ~ 25 mins bus ride from Wedding Villa. This is a Kid/baby friendly activity. Activity 2: Guided Bike Ride along the Aqueducts (10am-2pm) ~15km/9.3mi flat bike ride along the historical aqueducts should take ~ 2 hrs. Please sign-up only if you are comfortable with a somewhat active bike ride. Some parts are gravel and will share road with cars. This event is not suitable for kids/babies. Activity 3: Lucca historical walking tour (6pm before Welcome Dinner) 1.5 hour guided walking tour of historical Lucca ending at San Colombano (location of Welcome Dinner). Walking shoes required so bring a change of shoes. Suitable for walkers of all levels.

Welcome Dinner inside the medieval walled city of Lucca.

Cocktail attire: i.e. fun dresses, sports jackets (suits are not required!), dressy jeans. Note: Lucca has cobblestone streets so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes or bringing some spares. The event will be outside so consider bringing a light sweater or jacket
We will provide group transport from Villa Michaela and Villa Marta to the Welcome Dinner and returning from Lucca. For inspiration for outfits see our Pintrest Board https://pin.it/2q8P7IP Dinner will start at 8pm. First shuttle will leave at 6pm so guests can take the opportunity to explore Lucca. Followed by an afterparty. Paid street parking is also available in select areas Kids are welcome but please note dinner starts at 8pm. Additional family members of guests are welcome to join. Please ensure to RSVP for the number of adults and children joining us.

Wedding Festa

Semi-Formal / Glam: Sparkles, sequins and gold. Suits and cocktail dresses are welcome so are tuxes and gowns. Event is on a grass floor so no stilettos!
For more outfit inspiration see our Pintrest: https://pin.it/qIquTyV We will start with the marriage ceremony followed by drinks, dinner and lots of dancing until past midnight in the wine cellar basement. Bring your dancing shoes! It will likely still be sunny out when we start so bring your sunnies and hat. Event is on a grass floor so no stilettos. We will have spare rooms at the villa for any children that need to get to bed early while parents party and will have some activities/area for children to play. Event open to invited wedding guests only. We will provide transport to and from Villa Marta to the wedding venue (villa Michaela).
