We're Getting Married!

Karina and Gianfranco first met when she was 16 and he was 17, sharing an instant connection. But life (and way too many miles) kept them apart… for a while. Fast forward to Gianfranco’s grandma’s 80th birthday, Zenobia, where their paths crossed again in the best way possible. In the middle of the celebration, their connection reignited, and a first date at Mangos in Miraflores marked the start of something truly special. Soon after, Gianfranco officially asked her to be his girlfriend, and they’ve been inseparable (well, emotionally!) for over three years now. Navigating long distance wasn’t easy, but we quickly figured out what worked for us. We became pros at FaceTime date nights—cooking together, surprising each other with food deliveries, and enjoying wine while chatting late into the night. Visits became our way of staying close, promising to never let more than three months pass without seeing each other. Our nightly calls were a staple, and falling asleep on FaceTime became part of our routine, even if it got a few laughs from friends and family. Now, as we prepare to close the distance forever, we can’t wait to celebrate our journey with all of you—the laughter, the love, and even the late-night Wi-Fi battles that got us here.
