Travel

First and foremost, we are incredibly grateful that you are traveling all the way to Lebanon to celebrate with us. It means the world to us, and we cannot wait to share this special occasion with all of you Lebanon in the summer is vibrant, beautiful, energetic, and unforgettable — and we hope you’ll use this opportunity to enjoy the country, the food, the beaches, and the nightlife while you’re here. Please try to RSVP and finalize your travel plans before June 30 so we can better organize transportation and wedding logistics.

Flight

Flights to Lebanon

We strongly recommend flying with Middle East Airlines (MEA) whenever possible. MEA flights are generally the most reliable option into Lebanon and are significantly less likely to be canceled or rescheduled.

Travel Note

Getting Around Lebanon

A few important notes about transportation in Lebanon: We do not recommend renting or driving a car yourself, as driving in Lebanon can be chaotic and stressful, especially for visitors. Uber exists, but it can sometimes be unreliable, and drivers may contact you to renegotiate pricing after accepting a ride. Instead, we highly recommend using HIGH TAXI via WhatsApp at +961 3 328 728. They are reliable, safe, and commonly used. We recommend messaging them ahead of time and confirming pricing before your ride.

Travel Note

Where to Stay?

Beirut (Recommended for Most Guests) The wedding church will be around this area. The best neighborhoods to stay in are Achrafieh, Gemmayzeh, and Mar Mikhael. These neighborhoods are lively, walkable, filled with restaurants, cafés, bars, and nightlife, and are great for tourists. Mar Mikhael is especially great for Airbnbs and nightlife. Broumana (Mountain Stay) Broumana is close to the wedding venue and offers cooler mountain weather, beautiful scenery, and great pubs and restaurants. It’s a great option if you want a more relaxed mountain atmosphere, though it is less walkable than Beirut. Batroun (Beach & Party Destination) Batroun is perfect if you want beach clubs, sunset parties, coastal vibes, and nightlife. It is farther from the wedding events, but definitely worth visiting if you have extra days in Lebanon.
