Like any destination, it’s important to stay aware and use common sense, but Lebanon is very lively during the summer and thousands of tourists visit every season. We recommend using trusted transportation, avoiding driving yourself, and staying in recommended neighborhoods. You can also always ask us anytime if you need help or advice.
Attendance is not strictly limited to RSVPs, but we would truly appreciate it if you could confirm your attendance by June 30 so we can plan accordingly. If you prefer, you’re also welcome to skip the RSVP and simply text us your confirmation.
Cash is still very commonly used in Lebanon, especially USD. It’s best to carry some cash during your stay. Most places do accept cards, but USD is widely accepted, so you usually don’t even need to convert your money. If someone does convert prices into Lebanese pounds (LBP), just keep in mind that the rate they use is often around 1 USD ≈ 89,000 LBP.
Yes. We’ll coordinate transportation as best as possible and help group guests together. If enough people are staying in similar areas, we’ll organize buses/shuttles as well.
August in Lebanon is hot and sunny by the coast, while mountain areas like Broumana are cooler in the evenings, so it’s best to pack summer clothes, beachwear, and comfortable shoes, along with a light layer for cooler mountain nights.
On Sunday after the wedding, we plan to head to the beach in the late afternoon so everyone can enjoy one final sunset together — most likely in Batroun. Then on Monday, we’ll be heading off to Greece for our honeymoon.
