We recommend that guests flying into Mexico arrive at Mexico City International Airport Benito Juárez, which offers the most convenient access to the city and surrounding areas. If your schedule allows, we highly recommend arriving a few days before the wedding to enjoy everything Mexico City has to offer. It is a vibrant and beautiful destination, home to world-class museums, historic neighbourhoods, incredible architecture, and an amazing culinary scene. For your convenience, we will be providing transportation from Mexico City to the recommended hotels in Morelos (please see the options below), where the wedding will take place. The precise departure location will be confirmed closer to the date, but it will be from a central neighbourhood (Roma Norte or La Condesa).

Beginning at 1:45pm, the shuttle service will depart the first hotel, making a stop at each of the suggested hotels (please see the options below). The hotels are quite close to each other, and exact pickup times and schedule for each hotel will be finalised closer to the wedding date. After the party, the shuttle back to the hotels will be at 2:30am.

We will also be providing transportation from the recommended hotels in Morelos back to Mexico City. The shuttle will stop at each suggested hotel (please see the options below) beginning at 3pm, with approximately 5 minutes between each pickup location. The exact pickup times and schedule will be confirmed closer to the wedding date.

Getting From Mexico City to Morelos on Your Own

There are various options available for those who do not wish to avail themselves of the shuttle bus, such as renting a car, taking an inter-urban bus, or hailing a taxi. However, we recommend you simply take an Uber for convenience and reasonable prices. From CDMX to Morelos, an UberX is approximately MXN 1,400 (CAD 110) per trip and is flexible in terms of timing and pickup location. If you're travelling with a group of wedding guests a smart option is UberXL which costs approximately MXN 2,500 (CAD 197) and can fit up to 6 people. You can go directly to Morelos as soon as you arrive at the airport or from any part of Mexico City.

Airbnb

There are many Airbnb options near the Tequesquitengo area, which is located approximately 20 minutes from the wedding venue. Please note that transportation to and from the venue will be the guest’s responsibility for those staying in Airbnb or private rentals, as our shuttle service will only be available from the recommended hotels (this also applies to the shuttle back to CDMX). We suggest those who choose to stay outside the recommended hotels to head to one of those hotels to catch the shuttle bus.
