ABOUT THE VENUE Hacienda San Gabriel de las Palmas is a historic 16th-century estate founded in 1529 by order of Hernán Cortés. Originally a Franciscan monastery, it evolved into one of Mexico's largest sugar mills and later served as a key headquarters for Emiliano Zapata during the Mexican Revolution.
