Matron of Honor
When Kari was an infant, Wendy wanted to be an only child so pushed her off the counter to see what would happen. She survived and they've been best friends ever since.
Bridesmaid
Ever since meeting in high school yearbook, Kari has always been able to count on Annie for a positive twist on life; even if that positive twist came at 2 AM after she ran across campus just to say hello!
Bridesmaid
When Mitch first took Kari home to meet the family, his oldest sister Cori sneakily orchestrated the entire extended family to "casually" sit around the living room awaiting their arrival. For anyone else, it could have been overwhelming but for Kari, it was the perfect welcome!
Bridesmaid
One day at the KMES bus stop, Kari and Danielle decided to call each other "Buddy." Buddy turned into Booty and Booty turned into Booey. 25 years later, she's still Kari's best Booey even if they no longer live "3 houses down and across the street."
Bridesmaid
Whether its calling Postmates 5x to complain about our delivery being an hour late or celebrating a proper Chicago St. Pat's day, Mitch's youngest sister Jenelle always brings the fun and energy into the room; but Kari is most excited to be sister-brides and go through this crazy wedding planning process together!
Bridesmaid
On the first day of Middle School orientation, Kari introduced herself to Kat and the two were inseparable every day after. With birthdays only 11 days apart, sometimes they question whether or not they were separated at birth.
Bridesmaid
Kristen was the missing puzzle piece to our high school foursome, but the fun really began when Kari and Kristen moved back home after college and wreaked havoc in Virginia Beach together.
Bridesmaid
Lauren lived across the hall from Kari in their freshman year of college, but really connected when Lauren was Kari's backbone after moving back to DC. If Mitch could make her a groomsmaid too, he would!
Bridesmaid
Since the first day of college at James Madison University, Kari has been able to count on Liz for endless memories .... and endless phone calls.
Co-Best Man
Alan had the distinct pleasure of being Mitch’s main travel companion B.K.E (before Kari era). The two made many memories in Vietnam, Thailand, and on the way up Kilimanjaro, but their favorite memory somehow stands to be the constant entertainment of their favorite game: “Hey! Smell this…”
Co-Best Man
Mitch and Justin met at UCLA, but their love really flourished when they moved to Santa Monica together. Also known as Mitch's "first spouse," Justin's companionship and cooking skills set the bar pretty high for Kari.
Groomsman
Brian was always the cool older cousin that paved the way through LCHS for his other 8 family members to follow. While his work is often published in the NY Times, Mitch likes to think that his greatest writing accomplishment has been editing his MBA admissions essay drafts (which was no easy feat!).
Groomsman
Brycen is the younger brother that Mitch always hoped Cori and Jenelle would’ve been. Despite being 10 years younger, Brycen always wanted to experience college with Mitch, so he chose to attend Michigan as an undergrad while Mitch was there for his MBA.
Groomsman
Mitch met Colin in business school and the two quickly realized they have a lot of interests in common. While Colin might be better on the golf course, Mitch likes to think he's better on the dance floor...
Groomsman
Dustin’s been like a brother to Mitch for the better half of the last decade, joining numerous family vacations and sharing a deep appreciation for soccer. We speak for the whole family when we say we're all so excited to finally make the kinship official just a few short months after Kari and Mitch get hitched!
Groomsman
Jeremy welcomed Mitch to the family with open arms - he was just so glad Kari had finally found someone to occupy all the time she usually spends talking to Wendy, no matter what school that person went to (GO BLUE!).
Groomsman
Jimmy was the first one brave enough to marry into the Rotenberg family. Fortunately for us, he's well-rounded enough to come along on a good Yosemite hike or appreciate a good celebratory pedicure.
Groomsman
Robbie and Mitch shared all the same interests while growing up together - including working at the same local video rental store. While one of them developed an ability to make spot-on movie recommendations in the days before Netflix, the other one was Robbie.
Petal Patrol
Sloane is the oldest and sassiest of Mitch and Kari's youngest crew. You can find her walking down the aisle with a basket of flowers or out-dancing you on the dance floor.
Petal Patrol
As the first (and currently only) grandchild on the Rotenberg side, Avery is quite the popular lady. Her current interests include lecturing her parents in baby babble and slobbering all over her toes*. *these interests subject to change each day
Ring Security
Dylan is Kari and Mitch's cutest and only nephew. While he might be just a bit too young to actually carry the rings, he'll look mighty dapper while he smiles his way down the aisle...(we hope!)
