We’re getting married!

It all started at a wedding! Fitting, right? Rogelio was a groomsman, and Karen was a friend of the groom. Sparks flew, and what began as a fun conversation that night led to our first date (bowling, where the competition was friendly… mostly). From that point on, their story unfolded with laughter, love, and adventure. About a year later, they welcomed their first puppy, Sierra, into the family. Four years after that, they opened their hearts once more to adopt Jade, a sweet 9-year-old pit bull who quickly made their home complete. Travel has always been one of their favorite ways to share experiences together. Some of their most memorable trips combined their love for adventure and sports—whether it was cheering on the Bears in London or hiking through the breathtaking mountains of Banff, Canada. In July 2024, their journey took a new and unforgettable turn. While walking along a river in Ireland, Rogelio dropped to one knee and asked Karen to marry him. It was the perfect moment, and now they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of their love story with all of you.

Todo comenzó en una boda ¿qué tan apropiado, no? Rogelio era uno de los chambelanes, y Karen era amiga del novio. Hubo química de inmediato, y lo que empezó como una conversación divertida esa noche los llevó a su primera cita (una noche de boliche, donde la competencia fue amistosa… más o menos). Desde entonces, si historia ha estado llena de risas, amor y un sentido compartido de aventura. Un año después, dieron la bienvenida a su primera cachorra, Sierra, que rápidamente se convirtió en parte de la familia. Cuatro años más tarde, abrieron de de nuevo sus corazones y adoptaron a Jade, una dulce pitbull de 9 años. Viajar juntos se ha convertido en una de sus mayores pasiones. Algunos de sus recuerdos favoritos combinan dos cosas que más disfrutan: la aventura y los deportes—ya sea animando a los Bears en Londres o recorriendo las montañas de Banff, Canadá. En julio de 2024, su historia tomó un giro inolvidable. Durante un paseo junto a un río en Irlanda, Rogelio se arrodilló y le pidió a Karen que se casara con él.
