Please arrive on-time. The ceremony will begin at 3pm. There will be a little welcome drink waiting for you as well 🍸 Note that shuttle service will be provided prior to the ceremony start time. If you are not taking the shuttle, please plan to arrive 30 minutes early to allow time to find the venue and settle in.
We are having an unplugged ceremony! We kindly ask that you do not use your phones, cameras etc. & that you are fully present in the moment. We hired an awesome team of photographers/videographers that will take all the cute pics & we promise to share the same. TLDR: we do not want all your phones in our pictures/your faces hidden by your phones - so please put them away 😅 thanks & love ya!
While we would love to celebrate with everyone, only guests whose names are listed on the official invitation are invited. Thanks for understanding!
Yes they are! We understand many are traveling internationally and we would not want you to keep the cute munchkins at home! 🥰 Kiddos are welcome, but please make sure to keep an eye out for them (especially in big moments like parent dances, first dance and cake cutting). If you need some sort of child supervision for the event, please reach out to Karen and/or Micael (before July 31, 2026) and we can help coordinate!
Yes — black tie optional. We recommend elegant attire, with tuxes and formal gowns welcome but not required. 💖 Ladies: please wear floor length dresses. 🩵 Gentlemen: Suits/Tuxes are welcome.
Yes — Meliá Braga is our main hotel and will be where we offer shuttle service. Any hotel in the Braga area will place you within approximately 15–20 minutes of the venue. Please see the Travel tab for links + more details ✈️
Yes - on-site parking is available for those driving to the venue.
Yes — we will provide shuttle service from the hotel to the venue before the ceremony and return service after the cake cutting. Taxis, Ubers, and rental cars are also easy alternatives.
It is a mix of both! The weather in Portugal should be really nice around this time of year (70s during the day). It might get a bit chilly at night so we recommend having a little something to cover up with (or stealing your date's suit jacket!)
