FAQs

Question

Where is our ceremony and reception being held?

Answer

Burlap and Bells LLC N7988 W Snow Creek Rd. Black River Falls, WI

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal: We want everyone to be comfortable, have fun, and enjoy the day! We suggest comfortable shoes suitable for walking on natural ground-note that the ceremony does take place in the woods. The reception will follow inside the pavilion. Most importantly, wear what makes you feel good and ready to celebrate with us!

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Our wedding will be held rain or shine. We love the idea of embracing the outdoors in any weather! We recommend bringing an umbrella and a light blanket or wrap, just in case.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome to celebrate with us. We’re so excited to include your little ones as part of our special day.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, on-site parking is available at Burlap & Bells. We will have the venue space until 11:30pm. Cars are allowed to be parked at the venue overnight, as long as they are gone by 9am the following morning. If you are staying at the Ho-Chunk Hotel, there is access to a 14-passenger shuttle van to take you to and from the venue.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

This will be an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask guests to be fully present during the ceremony and leave the professional photos to our photographer.

Question

What about bugs?

Answer

You may want to bring bug spray for your comfort. The venue does treat the grounds for mosquitoes, but a little extra protection never hurts.

Question

What is the wagon ride?

Answer

Guests will take a short wagon ride (about 3 minutes) from the pavilion to the ceremony site in the woods. Each wagon holds around 25 people, and two wagons run at a time. Because of this, we kindly ask that you arrive early to ensure you’re able to catch a wagon before the ceremony begins. After the ceremony, the wagons will bring everyone back to the pavilion for cocktail hour and reception. There will be golf carts available for handicap & per request.

Question

Who should I contact with questions?
