Nearest Airport: Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL)
The wedding is taking place in Gurgaon, just about a 30-minute drive from New Delhi international airport, depending on traffic. There are a number of flight options from the NYC area to New Delhi. American Airlines, United and Air India operate direct flights from NYC area airports to New Delhi. These are typically 14 to 15-hour flights. These flights typically take off after 7 PM NYC time and land in India late night the next day. Another flight option is to take a connecting flight through a European airport. This divides the flight time into roughly two small halves. NYC to Europe is 7 hours and Europe to India is another 7 hours. Many airlines offer this option, like Delta, which has a short layover in London. Please reach out if you have questions about flights.
Hotel
The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi
The hotel has many different options for food, in addition to the meals being provided during the actual event. The best and fastest way to get from New Delhi airport to the Westin is via Uber. Once you have cleared immigration and collected your bags, you will see signs for an aiport Wi-fi kiosk. The kiosk will ask you to enter your passport number and will provide you with a small code to connect to the Wi-Fi. Please check back in a few weeks for a booking link to book your hotel room at The Westin.

Indian Tourist Visa
For those guests traveling to New Delhi from abroad: If you do not hold an Indian passport, you will need a Indian Tourist visa. The link below is a direct application portal to the Indian government website to complete this process. The application process is quite simple. Follow the application portal prompts, upload a picture of your passport and pay the fee. Once approved for the visa, you will receive the document in your email shortly. Prior to your flight, please print this out for immigration control in New Delhi. This is required for your trip. We will send a reminder about this process about 60 days prior to the wedding. We recommend that you complete this application process about 45 days prior to departing for India. Please feel free to reach out for any questions on this process.
