The numerous iterations of this event over the decades might need a whole other oral history page. So we've kept it all aside and taken creative liberties: It's a wedding rehearsal, it's a bridal shower, it's a cocktail night. There will be singing, dancing, games and a lot of fun this evening.

We are so excited to take our pheras at sundown! Here's the order of events: Baraat assembly: 3:30 pm Baraat (groom's procession): The groom and his party dance and make their way to the altar Baraat Welcome Bridal entry 5:30 pm Jaimala: Bride and groom exchange garlands 6:00 pm onwards: Appetizers 6:30 pm Pheras: The religious ceremony. 7:30-8:30 pm: Meet & Greet and pictures with bride and the groom 8:00 pm: Dinner 9:00 pm: Vidai, Kangana ceremony Afterparty to follow: There's some speeches, lots of dancing (and some real time for the bride and groom to eat). Please note this is not a formal sit down reception
