Travel Note

Choosing Accomodations

Moraga is nestled in a more secluded portion of the Bay Area, in between Berkeley and Walnut Creek. For those hoping to stay as close to the venue as possible, we recommend looking for accommodation options in adjacent Lafayette and Walnut Creek. Both cities offer picturesque downtowns, shopping, and beautiful trails. For those wanting to experience more lively nightlife and cultural activities, we recommend looking for accommodations in Berkeley, Oakland, or San Francisco. Although these cities are a bit further away, they are accessible by public transportation and may offer more options for those staying the whole weekend.

Train

Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART)

BART is a great transportation option for those looking to stay in more central parts of the Bay Area. The nearest BART station to the venue is the Orinda Station, located on the yellow San Francisco/Antioch Line. From there it is then a quick 10-minute drive using rideshare services such as Lyft or Uber. BART also provices service to the surrounding cities such as Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco. The last train for weekend service is at 1am.

Flight

Oakland International Airport

The Oakland International Airport is the closest commercial airport to Moraga. Located 22 miles from the venue, it is a 30-minute drive without traffic or a 37-minute BART ride to nearby Orinda.

Flight

San Francisco International Airport

Although a little further than the Oakland International Airport, the San Francisco International Airport often has cheaper and more frequent flight options. Located 33 miles from Moraga, the San Francisco International Airport is a 40-minute drive to the venue or a 56-minute BART ride to nearby Orinda.
