What is the dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

We would love for our family and friends to get dressed up with us! Our dress code is black tie optional. This means dark suits or tuxes for men and tea or floor length dresses for women. For the ladies, the bridesmaids will be wearing Carolina Blue so please try to stray from that color as well as white of course!

Where is the welcome party?

Answer

The welcome party is at StillLife Chapel Hill (159 E Franklin St Unit 200, Chapel Hill, NC 27514). The address will probably take you to the front of the bar. If it does, you will be in front of a long alleyway. If you look to the end, there is an elevator. Go to the elevator and take it up, that is where we are!

What is the dress code for the welcome party?

For our welcome party at Still Life Chapel Hill, we ask that friends and family dress in cocktail attire. Short dresses are ok for the ladies! Men do not need to be in full suits, a blazer and dress pants or just dress pants and dress shirts are ok.

We are registered at William Sonoma and Crate and Barrel. Please see our registry tab for more information!

Can I bring a date?

While we would love for everyone to get a plus one, we do have a limited capacity. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, however due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named on your invitation.

Where can I park upon arrival?

Answer

There is valet parking and self-parking at the Carolina Inn. However, since it is a small lot, we highly recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to the venue.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend you arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the ceremony time.

Is this an outdoor or indoor event?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outside on the Annie Watts Hill courtyard. Our cocktail hour will also take place outside. In the event of bad weather, we will move the ceremony and cocktail hour inside! The reception will take place inside in the Old Well Ballroom.

Please RSVP by August 27th, 2025.

If you have a dietary restriction, there will be a place where you RSVP to indicate that!
