Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kara Carmichael and Ben Gardeen
Minneapolis is a city that blends urban sophistication with the natural beauty of lakes, trails and parks. Did you know Minneapolis was ranked both Healthiest and Fittest City in America in 2017? So hop on a Nice Ride bike (or stroll!) and hit the River Road Trail for views of the Mighty Mississippi. And don't miss our iconic Stone Arch Bridge. This city also offers the benefits of a thriving metropolis with new stadiums, art exhibitions, breweries and James Beard Award-winning restaurants to keep your heart happy and your belly full. There’s a reason the Wall Street Journal recently named Minneapolis one of 10 “hot destinations for adventurous sophisticates and curious foodies.” Have so much fun exploring the city! (Can you tell Kara works in tourism?).

Kara is a die-hard foodie. Ben surprised her with dinner here for her 32nd birthday. Chef/owner Gavin Kaysen is the 2018 James Beard Winner for Best Chef Midwest. Reservations are hard to come by so call early. Sometimes you can snag a seat at the bar when it first opens for the evening.
