Question

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes, everything will take place at the Bitz Opera Factory (Pittsburgh Opera).

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is no onsite parking, but several options are available nearby: Street parking (metered below 25th St; free above 25th St) $10 lot at Penn Ave & 24th St (1 block away) $6 garage at Smallman & 24th St (2 blocks away)

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the Welcome Party is casual. The dress code for the Wedding is cocktail attire. You are more than welcome to wear a kilt or tartan!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but we kindly ask that our wedding be a celebration for adults only. We hope this will be a special night out for you to enjoy!

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you do, please let us know, and we will ensure accommodations are made.

Question

What should I bring as a gift?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift! However, for those who wish to give something, a card or a contribution to our registry is more than enough—but absolutely not expected.

Question

How do I apply for my travel Visa?

Answer

Visit the official ESTA website: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov Complete the application form carefully and pay the fee (currently $21). Most applications are approved quickly, but we recommend applying at least 1-2 weeks before your flight. We also strongly recommend that you book your accommodation before applying, as you will be asked for details about your stay. Please note that you can't work remotely in the US, even for a foreign employer, on an ESTA. **If you require a B-2 Tourist Visa, please visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/tourism-visit/visitor.html/visa and follow the DS-160 instructions on the page. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to the bride and groom!

Question

Any other tips for international guests?

Answer

Get travel insurance or confirm that your current one covers healthcare costs in the United States! Please! Get an eSIM for mobile data. We use Airalo. Referral code: CRAIG5902 Uber (or Lyft) is the easiest and most convenient way to get around. Remember it usually is just someone and their own car. Referral code: t7nsbf3rcqch Remember that you will most likely need to show ID in order to buy alcohol at bars. Also, alcohol can only be purchased at a liquor store.
