The best option for getting to Sayulita is flying into Puerto Vallarta International airport (PVR). If you are located in San Diego, we highly recommend flying out of Tijuana (TIJ) via the SkyBridge as tickets will be much cheaper with a faster customs process!

Getting to Sayulita

Sayulita is approximately a 45 minute drive north. You can uber, get a taxi, or rent a car from the airport. We recommend downloading the Whatsapp app if you don't have it already and texting the number above to coordinate roundtrip transportation from the airport. Uber - Uber is available in Puerto Vallarta but you need to cross a bridge with luggage to get picked up at the airport. There is an obvious designated area for Uber pickup. This option is cheaper than your typical taxi but is trickier to navigate. Car Rental - you have several standard rental options in the airport. We have been recommended a small company via Facebook messenger as a cheaper option but most rentals are pretty cheap in Mexico. Our preferred Facebook Car Rental - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057415210411 (Message them on facebook. You will need to bring cash to pay upfront.) Taxi at the airport - This is a very easy option. Be prepared to be bombarded by all of them the second you walk out of customs. This is a good option if you don't pre-book a car but will likely be more expensive same-day.

Golf Cart Rentals

Sayulita is a golf cart town! We recommend renting a golf cart during your stay to easily get around. It's not necessary... just fun!! There are a variety of golf cart rental companies in Sayulita, some of which will be very close to where you may be staying. We recommend asking hotel or house rental host to refer a company or see if they can organize for you. Shuttle

Complimentary Shuttle to the Ceremony
