We found that almost all places accept credit cards, but USD are not typically accepted. We recommend you get some pesos, which you can exchange at your local bank in the US or at the airport once you arrive. You can also exchange when you get to Sayulita, but just note here are only a few ATM's and one bank (Intercam Bank).
We haven’t opened RSVPs just yet, as our formal invitations have not been sent. Once they go out, we’ll add an RSVP tab here on our website where you can easily submit your response. Thank you so much for your patience — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
To keep our celebration intimate, we’re unable to offer plus ones to all guests. Your invitation will list everyone invited; if a plus one is included, they’ll be named specifically. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
We’re excited to celebrate with guests of all ages! Children are welcome to join the fun and will be listed by name on the invitation. We plan on having games and other activities to keep the little ones entertained. Kindly RSVP noting whether children will be attending so that we can prepare for a great day together.
November in Sayulita, Mexico is truly perfect. You can expect warm, sunny days with temperatures typically in the upper 70s to mid-80s°F, along with comfortable evenings. The weather is tropical but not overly humid, thanks to ocean breezes and the start of the dry season. We recommend packing light, breathable clothing, sandals, swimwear, and sun protection—think relaxed, tropical attire that’s perfect for beach days and festive evenings.
Sayulita is a golf cart town! We highly recommend renting a golf cart during your stay for easy movement around town. For the wedding ceremony and reception, shuttle buses will be provided that stop in the main plaza of downtown Sayulita. If you prefer to taxi, be sure to specify Teitiare Estate as your location. DO NOT try to take an Uber or Lyft to the Estate or you will end up like Jayden and Kara hiking through the jungle to arrive at the venue.
Unfortunately, Teitiare Estate is not wheelchair accessible. The property is built on a hillside, and accessing the ceremony site requires walking up and down stairs. We truly wish we could accommodate all mobility needs and appreciate your understanding. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions or would like more details about the layout.
Please refer to our Schedule for specific dress code details. Overall, we want our guests to feel comfortable and confident in what they wear. While the setting is tropical, we kindly ask that attire remain on the more formal side to complement the wedding celebration.
Both the wedding ceremony and reception dinner will take place outdoors. Guests will arrive through the main Estate grounds and enjoy a cocktail hour on the property before the ceremony. The ceremony will be held on the beach just in front of the Estate, followed by dinner on the grassy lawn directly beyond the sand.
Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. Since the event will either be on sand or grass, we highly recommend more blocky heels or lower heel options.
While we welcome and love photos during the reception, we kindly request a phone-free ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present for this special moment.
If you still have more questions after looking through this list, you can either call Kara at (760) 271-7390 or Jayden at (760) 840-0156.
