A large reserve near where we live that separates Denver from some of the outer suburbs, if they are open you can drive through the reserve and see tons of wildlife and bison roaming around.
Haven't had a chance to visit yet, but we've been told it's absolutely beautiful and a stop for lots of locals.
A historic part of Denver, the square is sectioned off for people to walk through to shop and eat.
Lots of great food stalls inside, and the area around has tons of places to eat, drink and explore. We personally love the cider houses and breweries nearby.
One of our favorite stops for Neopolitan pizza! We try and bring everyone here at least once.
While it's a great outdoor concert venue, you can also hike the trails around it! Hiking them at sunrise makes for the most gorgeous views around.
Gorgeous hike along a creek on the way towards Breckenridge and just outside of Denver. We love taking Kona here in the summer for a dip in the ice-cold water. This out-and-back hike is easy and paved, however, the parking lot isn't clearly marked at an address on google, so we recommend using the All Trails link to map directions to get there.
Absolutely gorgeous views and a short easy hike near Breckenridge. We almost decided to have our wedding here but decided to just do the engagement photoshoot at this spot instead.
The main area to explore in the city of Breckenridge. Tons of places to stop, shop, and eat while enjoying the views.
