Guests arrival
9:00 AM - 10:15 AM (Buddhist ceremony)
In the temple, the Bride & Groom will pay homage to the Triple Gem, lighting candles as the monks chant. The couple will receive blessing from the head monk.
10:15 AM - 10:45 AM (Buddhist ceremony cont'd)
The Bride and Groom will provide food offerings to the monks, building good merits and karma for their new life together. This concludes the religious portion of the event.
10:45 AM - 12 PM (Traditional ceremony)
Our appointed elders will crown the couple with a single white thread, uniting them as one. The parents will decorate the couple with flower garlands. Then, we will end with a water blessing, where family and friends rinse the couple's hands with fragrant water and wish them well on their marriage.
