Flight
JFK, LaGuardia and Newark
NYC has three major airports, the closest of which is LaGuardia. A taxi/rideshare from LaGuardia can take from 30 minutes to over an hour, depending on traffic. If you prefer to take public transit from an airport, JFK connects directly to the A train, which stops a block away from our recommended hotels. Just get off the airtrain at the Howard Beach stop, then take the A train in the Inwood-207 St direction for 11 stops until you get to Hoyt - Schermerhorn, which just so happens to be the location of Martin Scorsese’s 18-minute music video for Michael Jackson's “Bad”. Newark often has the cheapest flights, but is over an hour away by car, bus, and/or train.
Train
Amtrak, LIRR, NJ Transit, and Subway
If you live along the BosWash corridor, it's a breeze to take an Amtrak train to Manhattan and then the subway to downtown Brooklyn. Get off Amtrak at the new Moynihan train hall at Penn Station, take the downtown A or C train for ten stops to Hoyt - Schermerhorn station. You can also take the 2 or 3 trains eight stops downtown from Penn Station to Hoyt St station. If you are coming from Long Island, the venue is a 10 minute walk from the Atlantic Terminal LIRR station. If you're coming from New Jersey, your best bet is to come into Penn Station and take the downtown A or C to Hoyt - Schermerhorn, or the downtown 2 or 3 to Hoyt St. Otherwise, the venue and recommended hotels are walking distance from the A, C, G, F, B, D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 subway trains.

Parking
There are lots of parking options in downtown Brooklyn if you decide to drive. For example, parking is available at IPark located at 255 Schermerhorn St. Brooklyn, NY 11217. There is also limited street parking, but be prepared to circle the block and double check street signs for parking restrictions.
