FAQs

All your most pressing questions should be answered here.
Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We've put a lot of time into deciding who we want to share our day with, so we are not allowing our guests to bring dates that we did not invite. Everyone invited should appear by name on your invitation.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

By September 1, 2022.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are requesting a formal or 'Creative Formal' dress code at our wedding. Creative Formal gives you the option to go all out, wear the sequin blazer you've stashed in the back of your closet because you love it but, can't imagine where you'll wear it. Pull out the boa that'd look fabulous with your evening gown, or even dress up as Morticia Adams because, it Halloweekend and we said you can.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have a small room block at The Ghost Light Inn for immediate family and the wedding party. We also have a discount code at the New Hope Inn and Suites. All other suggested hotels are listed under the 'Accommodations' tab above.

Question

Am I invited to the The Night Before?

Answer

We will be having an intimate Rehearsal Dinner with our immediate family and wedding party. If you are invited, you will be notified by Mike or Dana.

Question

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

Yes! Please join us for welcome drinks Friday night, October 28th, before the wedding and brunch Sunday afternoon, October 30th, after the wedding! You can find when and where those events will be held on the 'Events' tab of our website.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at Stella of New Hope. Our ceremony will be outside followed by a cocktail hour and reception indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 so we are asking that you arrive between 5pm and 5:30pm to the venue. (Be sure to factor in some time for parking!)

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be valet parking available all evening, as well as a metered parking lot attached to the venue.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We're requesting a fully unplugged ceremony, so please refrain from any cell phone usage during that time. At the reception, we encourage all guests to take and post pictures to their social media, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #kanepartyoftwo so we can enjoy all of your pictures!

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Please reach out to the bride or groom no later than one week before the wedding. Contact Michael at (814) 933-6392, & Dana at (732) 236-4949. We can both be reached at kanepartyoftwo@gmail.com
