Are kids welcome?

Answer

As our wedding is mostly an evening event, we want all of our guests to kick back, relax and enjoy the festivities. No kiddos tonight. However, if you are interested in learning about some trusted, local, babysitting options, please reach out to us as we have some acquaintances in the Orlando area. What is the appropriate attire?

Answer

Dress to impress but plan to dance too! Gentlemen - As this is a formal event in a country club, you are required to wear a blazer or suit jacket. Ties are optional. Ladies - Feel free to get a little glitz and glam if you need an excuse! The wedding will be held on tile or concrete floor, stiletto safe.

What Kind of Weather Should We Anticipate and What if it Rains??

Answer

March marks the beginning of spring in Florida. The average daily high is approximately 79 degrees while the average daily low hovers around 57 degrees. As this event will take place outdoors and in the late afternoon/evening, cooler temperatures are possible by the end of the night. We encourage you to bring a light jacket. In the event of rain, we will move the event into the ballroom on site. We’ve got you covered! Haha...get it :)

Will Karim and Val be upset if you can’t attend?

Answer

We COMPLETELY understand that traveling for a wedding is not always easy, convenient or practical. To be honest, there's a good chance that one of us will end up having to work this night anyway..........but seriously We do not expect everyone to be able to attend and would never hold it against you in a million years. Our invitation to you is merely our way of expressing how much you mean to us. Whether you can join us or not will never change that!

What is the Parking & Transportation Situation?

Answer

For those of you that will have a car, there is ample parking available on site at no charge to our guests. However, if you are planning on drinking, please be safe and consider using a DD or Uber/Lyft which should be readily available in the greater Orlando area. As our guests will be spread out at various accommodations, we do not have a shuttle planned to or from the wedding. Please plan your transportation accordingly.

When Will Dinner Be Served?

Answer

Dinner is tentatively planned for service between 6:30-7:00 on the lawn. Stay tuned for updates on the menu.

What is the Cell Phone and Camera Policy?

Answer

CEREMONY- will be unplugged - We ask that you kindly just live in the moment with us! RECEPTION- take lots of photos and please tag us using #kandvhitched *Please do not photograph our professional photography team, their setup or the posed sessions, per their request. Thank you!

Are you Registered Anywhere for Gifts?

Answer

While your presence and well wishes are enough of a gift. If you must insist, We do have a honeymoon list. We’re heading to Hawaii for some fun, In the tropical sun!
